CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

 

AOA (Active Older Adults): A group exercise class designed to meet the needs of the active older adult using a variety of fitness tools to enhance strength, balance, and flexibility.

AOA YOGA:  As the body ages, muscles and joints begin to tighten which causes discomfort and anxiety about one’s physical well-being.  Yoga can help you maintain your mental well being and increase your energy level.  Gentle flowing movements to increase your heart rate and chairs for stability with postures.  One can balance, strengthen and stretch more when using a chair for support.

BODY FIT: This class focuses on the fundamentals of toning, sculpting, and promoting muscular balance.  Utilizing a variety of strength training tools such as hand weights, body bars, resistance bands and stability balls.  The perfect setting to learn strength training basics and build muscle tone.

BODY PUMP®:  is the original barbell class that strengthens your entire body. This  workout challenges all your major muscle groups by using the best weight-room exercises like squats, presses, lifts and curls. Great music, awesome instructors and your choice of weights inspire you to get the results you came for – and fast!

BOOT CAMP:  Get ready for fitness that addresses all areas of fitness including cardio and muscular endurance, fat loss and weight loss, full body strength, agility, balance, flexibility, and most important…fun!!

FUNCTIONAL FITNESS:  This class employs your body weight and simple physics to create an unlimited range of resistance and complete range of functional exercises.  Get ready for some military training!

KARDIO ATTACK:  This workout includes:  athletics, sports, calisthenics and good old fashioned aerobics!!!  Great for anyone looking to push themselves a little harder to get results.

KARDIOKICK:  A total body workout using punch/kick combinations choreographed to high-energy music.  This high-impact class can be modified to keep it low for less stress on the joints.

PILATES:  Mat work utilizing core muscles to lengthen, strengthen, and improve overall muscle tone.

SPINNING®:   Spinning is an aerobic exercise that takes place on a specially designed stationary bicycle called a Spinning Bike.  As you pedal, motivating music plays and the instructor talks you through a visualization of an outdoor cycling workout.  During the class your pace will vary and sometimes pedaling as fast as you can.  Spinning brings health and fitness to every life style.  If you’re looking for a calorie burning, energizing, fun workout, we can help you do that!!!!

STEP CHALLENGE:  Experienced steppers wanted! Combinations of high/low step patterns are choreographed to energetic music for the ultimate aerobic experience.

CARDIO AND TONE:  Combinations of high/low cardio patterns and weights.  If you want some good interval training come and try out this class.

FAMILY YOGA: Enjoy the benefits of Hatha Yoga with your family.  Learn beginning breathing techniques and yoga postures.  Great for flexibility, balance, and posture.  Ages 8 & up.

YOGALATES:  is the perfect blend of Pilates, Yoga, sports stretch, dance stretch, and athletics that will help you burn calories and build muscle.

YOGA FLOW: A Yoga class that will move (flow) from one posture into another.  It will focus on muscle strength and flexibility, along with balance and endurance.  The whole body will be worked as we include joint and back friendly squats, lunges, and abdominal poses.  It will encourage mental awareness as well as relaxation.

ZUMBA®:  Zumba fuses hypnotic latin rhythms and easy to follow moves to create a dynamic workout system that will blow you away.  The routines feature interval training sessions where fast and slow rhythms and resistance training are combined to tone and sculpt your body while burning fat.  ZUMBA is for everyone at any level.

Monday-Friday: 8:00am-12:00pm and 4:00pm-7:00pm
Saturdays:  10:00am-2:00pm
Sundays:  2:00pm-4:00pm
